Mrs. McIlwain Succumbs To Long Illness April 21

Mrs. W. P. McIlwain, 74, a resident of Winnfield for many years died in a
local hospital Wednesday, April 21, after a long illness.   She was a native
of Grant Parish and a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 23, in the Southern
Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiating.  Burial will be in
Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, W. P. McIlwain, Winnfield; one son, David W.
McIlwain, Alexandria; two daughters, Mrs. Lee Couvillion, Alexandria, and Mrs.
Willie Courville, Eunice, La.; one brother, Dillon Bryant, Montgomery; three
sisters, Mrs. Vivian Jackson, Montgomery, Mrs. Lizzie Reeves, Winnfield, and
Mrs. S. G. Williams, Ferriday; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
