Rites For Mrs. McIlwain Held Tuesday

Mrs. Joanna K. McIlwain, 89, of Dry Prong, died Monday, February 16, 1976.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hargis Baptist Church near
Montgomery with the Rev. Roy Moore and the Rev. Tom Smith officiating.  Burial
was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, George McIlwain, five sons, Murrell McIlwain of
Atlanta, G. W. McIlwain of Columbia, Gene McIlwain of Shreveport, Gilbert
McIlwain of Westlake, and Clifford McIlwain of Montgomery; five daughters,
Mrs. Melba Royal of Many, Mrs. Audrey Howell of Natchitoches, Mrs. Lura Royal
of Florien, Mrs. Mildred Futrell of Dry Prong.
