Mrs. McIlwain Dies, Rites At Hargis

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hargis Baptist Church near
Montgomery for Mrs. Lizzie J. McIlwain, 80, of Montgomery, who died Thursday,
June 10, 1976 at the Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria.

Officiating was the Rev. Tom Smith, with burial in the church cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Dyson and Mrs. Audie Lee
Dyson, both of Montgomery, and Mrs. Ilene LaCour of Pineville; two brothers,
Elijah Jowers of Alexandria and Melder Jowers of Montgomery; eight
grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
