Death of Jemes McCain

A faithful servant, a good neighbor and Samaritan was the kindly words for the
Colored man Jemes McCain, who passed away last week and was buried in the
Bethlehem Cemetery, just about the Mars Hill community.  Folks here can't help
but remembering the willing hands of Jemes and his family who were always
willing to help in the fields, hog killings, beef killings, and many jobs
among his white neighbors.
