Final rites were conducted at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. June 19, with Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiating. Burial was in the Pollock Cemetery. Mrs. McKeithen, a member of the First Baptist Church, had been active in religious and civic affairs until her death. She was a native of Rochelle but had made her home in Winnfield for the past 15 years. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Cora Childers, and one sister, Mrs. E. J. Byrnes, both of Winnfield; one granddaughter and three grandchildren. Acting as pallbearers were Doris Warner, Harvey Rhymes, Junior Erskins, Eugene Walker, Howard Tarver, and Ardis McElroy.
