Mrs. McLamore Funeral Is Held Here On Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Elesa McLamore of Wheeling community were held at
the Mt. Zion Church, Monday, March 8, at 2:30 p.m.

Mrs. McLamore died Saturday in a local hospital after an illness of 17 days. 
She was 57 years old, having been born April 17, 1896, in Winn Parish.

Conducting the services at the Mt. Zion Church were Ret. T. A. Brown, assisted
by Rev. A. N. Baum.  Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery under direction of
Hixson Funeral Home.

Mrs. McLamore is survived by her husband, Sam McLamore of Wheeling; one son,
Glenn McLamore of New Orleans; one daughter, Mrs. P. K. Smith of Winnfield;
three brothers, Hershel Hughes, Montgomery, Earl Hughes of Hodge, and J. W.
Hughes of Baton Rouge; and one sister, Mrs. Jesse Boyett of Winnfield.

Pallbearers were Melvin Hall, Thomas Harrison, Hardy Smith, Jr., Clyde Smith,
Jack McLamore, and Edward Hughes.
