Mrs. L. McCain Dies At Age 91 In Montgomery

Mrs. Lena R. McCain, 91, widow of the late John I. McCain, prominent early
merchant of Montgomery, died in a Winnfield hospital at 5 a.m. Wednesday, July
6, 1966.  She was a native of Simsboro and a member of the Montgomery
Methodist Church.

Funeral services were conducted at Montgomery at 10 a.m. Thursday in the
Methodist Church with the Rev. John Kellog officiating.  Burial was in the
Simsboro Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J. C. O'Neal of Sibley, Mrs. E. W. Teddlie
of Shreveport, and Mrs. Mable McGuire of Montgomery; a half sister, Mrs.
J. G. Pope of Minden; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
