W. McLean Of Laurel Heights Native of Texas, 76 Years of Age, Succumbs Wednesday Funeral services were held at the Laurel Heights Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday for J. W. McLean, 76, of Winnfield, who died at his home Wednesday. Rites were conducted by the Rev. H. J. Mott, pastor, and interment was in the Sanders Chapel Cemetery near Calvin with the Southern Funeral Home in charge. Born in 1876 in Texas, the deceased was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, four brothers, L. L. McLean of Campti, J. C. McLean of Shreveport, R. S. McLean of Homer, and Charlie McLean of Natchitoches; and three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Jackson of Montgomery, Mrs. Lucille Bercher of New Mexico, and Mrs. Anna Perot of Campti. Pallbearers were J. C. Jackson, Alton Martin, Dalton Martin, Goodrich Kirkland, Ernest Perot, and L. A. Perot.
