A. McManus

Funeral services for Aaron McManus, 58, of Montgomery, were held at 2:30 p.m.
Friday in Mars Hill Baptist Church near Atlanta with the Rev. Kenneth Tarver
and the Rev. Tom Smith officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

Mr. McManus died Wednesday, April 5, 1978 at his residence after a brief
illness.

A native of Atlanta, Mr. McManus was a member and deacon of Mars Hill Baptist
Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel McManus of Montgomery, a son, David
McManus of Baytown, Texas; three brothers, Acie McManus of Winnfield, G. P.
McManus of Montgomery, and Henry D. McManus of Baytown, Texas; two sisters,
Mrs. Ruby Thrower and Mrs. Altha House, both of Winnfield; and four
grandchildren.
