Funeral Services For Mrs. A. McMahan Held Here Mon.

Funeral services for Mrs. A. McMahon, age 57, were held at the home of Mrs. J.
L. Price here at 4:30 o'clock Monday afternoon.  Mrs. McMahon died at 12:00
o'clock Sunday, August 16, at the home of her sister, Mrs. George Rowells of
Marshall, Texas.  The body was brought to Winnfield where Mrs. McMahon has
lived for many years.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Alwin Stokes,
pastor of the Presbyterian Church, and Rev. C. C. Wier, paster of the
Methodist Church.  Interment was made in the local cemetery.

Mrs. McMahon is survived by her husband, one son, Johnnie Wilkins, two
daughters, Mrs. Ben Price Winnfield, and Mrs. Mable Wilkins, Fort Worth, and
three sisters, Mrs. George Rowells, Marshall, Ms. George Brooks, Montrose, and
Mrs. H. A. Ashcraft, Oak Grove.
