Last Rites For Mrs. A. McManus Held At Mars Hill

Mrs. Ardilla McManus, 71, died in a Natchitoches hospital Tuesday afternoon. 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 27, in the Mars Hill
Baptist Church with the Rev. L. R. Shelton officiating.  Burial was in the
church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Nephews acted as pallbearers.

Survivors include one son, Alon McManus of Atlanta; two daughters, Mrs. J. B.
Hale of Norwalk, Calif., and Mrs. Edward Hale of Atlanta; one brother, Andon
Calhoun of Columbia and one sister, Mrs. Minnie LeBarron of Montgomery; 11
grandchildren and one great grandchild.
