Funeral Services For Mrs. Henry McCarty Are Held At Sharon

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry McCarty, 38 years of age, who died at the
Fitz-Faith Clinic in Winnfield Sunday, May 3rd, were held at the Sharon
Cemetery near Sikes Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  The Rev. George Adams was
in charge of the services.  A large concourse of sorrowing relatives and
friends attended the last rites.

Mrs. McCarty was brought to Winnfield in a serious condition on Monday before
her death.  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Crain of Sikes. 
Surviving besides her parents, are her husband, Mr. Henry McCarty and one
daughter, Mrs. Johnnie Shows of Sikes, and seven sisters.
