J. T. McQuillan, Montgomery, Died On Last Thursday

John T. McQuillan, 83 years old, of Montgomery, passed away at his home on
Thursday, December 2, after a long illness.

Funeral services were held on Saturday with Rev. Kitchingham of Columbia, La.,
officiating, and the Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield in charge of
arrangements.

Mr. McQuillan was married in 1891 in Winn Parish.  His wife is deceased. 
Surviving him are three daughters, Mrs. Mattie Rachal, Colfax; Mrs. Bertha
Haynes, Shreveport; and two sons, H. C. McQuillan of Montgomery and J. A.
McQuillan of Shreveport.

Pallbearers at the funeral were Alvin Kurtz, Haskell Yates, C. J. Calhoun, Ray
Box, J. E. McIlwain, and A. Rachal.
