Mrs. W. G. McCarty Buried April 24 at Hurricane Grove

Funeral services for Mrs. Ophelia McCArty were held at Hurricane Grove Baptist
Church April 24, 1950.  Services were conducted by Rev. Burness Dyess,
assisted by Rev. Edward Smith and Rev. Foster.

Mrs. McCarty was born to the late T. A. and Josephine Boles November 1, 1890
and died April 22, 1950.

Surviving are her husband, W. G. McCarty; one son, Daniel W. McCArty, Sr.; two
grandchildren, Daniel W. McCarty, Jr., and Paul David McCarty; two sisters,
Mrs. Frank Adams of Sikes and Mrs. Mattie Womack of Jonesboro; four brothers,
C. L. Boles and H. S. Boles of Winnfield, Arthur Boles of Mangham, and T. A.
Boles, Jr. of Minden.

She was married to Walter G. McCarty March 23, 1915.

Pallbearers were Connie Underwood, James Flowers, Detroyce Moffett, Ardis
Boles, Elton Curry, and Rush McCarty.
