Funeral Services For Mrs. Fannie Meador Nov. 20

Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Meador, 79, were held Saturday at 10 a.m. at
Old Union Baptist Church.  Mrs. Meador died Thursday.

She was born November 14, 1875 in Camden, Arkansas.  At the time of her death,
Mrs. Meador resided with her daughter, Mrs. Effie Barton of Joyce.

She is survived by three sons, John Meador of Zimmerman, Tom of Rosenburg,
Oregon, and Jack of Hebron, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Effie Barton of Joyce and
Mrs. Hettie Streetman of Tulsa, Okla.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Willie Anderson and Rev. R. E.
Emfinger of Minden.  Burial was in Old Union Cemetery under direction of
Hixson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased.
