Mrs. J. M. Mercer

Died:  In Winnfield, La., Monday morning, April 18, 1910, about eleven o'clock, 
Mrs. J. M. Mercer, aged 39 years, 1 month, and 15 days.

The deceased had been sick for some time.  She was an estimable Christian woman,
a devoted wife, a loving mother and a true friend.  She leaves a husband, two
daughters, and one son.  She was a member of the Baptist Church and had lived a
consistent Christian life from her 14th year.

The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of our people, who mourn with
them as they sit in the shadow of their great bereavement surrounded by the
fragments of their shattered hopes.
