Mrs. B. Mercer Succumbs; Rites Held Tuesday

Mrs. Bessie Smith Mercer, 81, of Winnfield, died at noon Monday, November 16,
1970 at Winnfield General Hospital.

Survivors include a son, Laurie Mercer of Winnfield; a brother, P. B. Smith
of Dodson, and two sisters, Miss Lonnie Smith of Winnfield and Mrs. C. W.
Fox of Dodson.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel with Elder Woodrow Wilson and Elder J. R. Ware officiating.  Burial was
in Zion Hill Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
