Funeral Services Held For M. G. Mercer Mar. 9

Funeral services for Monroe Gilbert Mercer, who died at his home in Curry
March 8th, were held from the family residence at 3 p.m., March 9th, with
interment in the Guin Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his wife, the former Belle Williams of Rochelle,
and two children, Mrs. Cecil Couch and a small son; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Willard Mercer, and the following brothers and sisters: Hillery Mercer, Luther
Mercer, Earl Mercer, Mrs. Dan Wilson, of Curry; Silas Mercer and Mrs. Sanders
of Tullos, Mrs. Lottie Burns of Rochelle and Mrs. George Cutrer of Alexandria.

Attending the funeral from Winnfield were P. M. Mercer, Felix J. Mercer, and
P. Hugh Mercer.
