She was the widow of Judge Thomas Morgan Milling, one time owner of the Prothro Mansion at St. Maurice, where they made their home. She was also the daughter of the late Murphy J. Foster, Sr., Governor of Louisiana. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Rose Monroe of New Orleans; one brother, Murphy J. Foster of Franklin; sisters Mrs. Bessie F. Tenick, Mrs. Paul Trowbridge, Mrs. H. M. Hayne, all of Franklin, Mrs. John B. Hyde, of Washington, D. C., Mrs. Lewis B. Crawford of New Iberia. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Methodist Church in Franklin. Burial was in the Franklin Cemetery.
