B. Milam, Sr., Buried Sat. At Gansville Funeral services for Mrs. J. B. Milam, Sr., 96, of Jonesboro, and a native of Winn Parish , were held at Siloam Baptist Church at Gansville at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 1967, with the Rev. John P. Allen officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Milam died Thursday afternoon at her home after a brief illness. Her late husband, a prominent merchant and farmer, was past president of the Winn Parish Police Jury. Mrs. Milam, the former Viola Stone, was born and reared in the Gansville-Dodson area. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by two sons, J. B. Milam, Jr., of Ruston and Ott Milam of Tullos; two daughters, Mrs. Mable Gatlin and Mrs. Nell Parker, both of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers were Don Milam, Dr. John Milam, John LaRue, Sonny M. Gatlin, Rev. Roy Prager, Tom Handy, M. C. Walker, and Jack Emmons.
