Mrs. Miller, 78, Georgetown, Dies Sept. 14

Mrs. Carrie Ruth Miller, 78, of Georgetown, died at 6:52 a.m. in a Shreveport
hospital Thursday, September 14, 1972.

She was a faithful member of the Georgetown Baptist Church and had lived here
for a number of years.

Survivors include a son, Jimmie C. Miller of Hampton, Virginia; a brother,
James B. Lee of Bossier City; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Lee Sapp, Mrs. Lynella
Jones, Mrs. Beatrice Houston, and Mrs. Betty Nason, all of Bossier City, and
two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers
in Pineville with Rev. William Busby, pastor, and Rev. W. D. Carson,
officiating.

Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were Henry D. Jones, Mike Sapp, James Kent, Louis Roberts, Nathan
W. Morris, and Leslie Miller.

Honorary pallbearers were Willard Rambo and George Barrett.
