J. Miles Willie J. Miles, 45, farmer of Atlanta, died in a Shreveport hospital Friday, May 13, from blood poisoning caused from an infected pimple on his face. Funeral services were held at Hickory Ridge Cemetery at Sikes Saturday with Rev. Alwin Stokes of Winnfield officiating. Surviving are his widow, and two children, William and Maudie Mae; his mother, Mrs. R. G. Tolbert; and the following brothers and sisters, Lawrence Tolbert, Henry Tolbert, Mrs. Essae Hatten, Mrs. Bessie Risher, Lessie Lee Tolber, and two half sisters, Mrs. Maudie Errington and Mrs. Daly Wimberly, both of Pineville.
