Byrd F. Mills Dies; Burial At Liberty Chapel

Funeral services for Byrd F. Mills, 86, of Dodson were held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield.

Burial was at Liberty Chapel Cemetery near Williana.

Mr. Mills died Sunday night, February 6, 1972 at Winnfield General Hospital
after a lengthy illness.

A native of Christian County, Mo., he was a retired farmer and a member of the
Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sons, Joe Mills and Jessie Mills, both of Denver City,
Tex., Luther Mills of Elberton, Ark., and Ira Mills of Dodson; one
daughter, Mrs. Daisy Tucker of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Harvey Mills of
Pindell, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
