D. O. Mitchell Buried Sunday At Mt. Zion

Funeral services for David Owen Mitchell, 64, were held Sunday at 3 p.m. in
the Mt. Zion Methodist Church near Atlanta.

Mr. Mitchell died June 3, 1967 in the Confederate Memorial Hospital in
Shreveport after a lengthy illness.

Survivors are his widow; one son, B. G. Mitchell; one stepson, Bryan d.
McLemore of Shreveport; three brothers, J. P. Mitchell and Burgess Mitchell,
of Montgomery, and Curtis Mitchell of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Lavena
Lindsey of West Monroe and Mrs. Vera Johnson of Pineville.

Burial was in the Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery under direction of
Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
