Mrs. Joe Mitchell

Services for Mrs. Joe (Hester A.) Mitchell, 84, of Winnfield were held at 2
p.m. Saturday in First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. W. R. Gage
officiating.

Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Southern
Funeral Home in Winnfield.

Mrs. Mitchell died at 3:35 a.m. Friday, April 4, 1980 in the local hospital
after a long illness.

She was a charter member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Mitchell of Winnfield; a daughter, Mrs.
Hester Stevenson of Trinity, Texas; two grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were E. J. Buchanan, Cas B. Moss, Casimer Moss, H. E. Powell, Jr.,
Claude Pulley, James Mallard, Russell Terry, and J. B. Burning.
