Carl was 28 years of age, a devout Christian and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was loved by all who knew him and his seemingly untimely death causes great sorrow to many relatives and a host of friends. The deceased was a member of one of the largest and most prominent families of this section. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Mixon, Mr. Mixon being a member of the Winn Parish School Board.
