John Mixon, Winn Native, Dies Sunday

John Wesley Mixon, 54, of Minden, a Winn Parish native, died Sunday, February
29, 1976.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Pentecostal Church. The Rev. T.
W. Barnes officiated. Burial was in Sanders Chapel Cemetery near Calvin.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Bessie Mixon Barnes, Minden; two brothers,
Charlie Mixon, Minden, and R. L. Mixon, Starkville, Miss.; four sisters, Mrs.
Bernice Bryant, Mrs. Laverne Floyd, and Mrs. Bessie Fay Frasier, all of
Minden, and Mrs. Jennie Mims, Slidell.
