Alonzo Mixon, Dodson, Dies In Vet's Hospital At Gulfport

Alonzo Mixon, about 40 years of age, died Friday at the Veteran's Hospital at
Gulfport, Miss.  Mixon is survived by his father, B. B. Mixon of Dodson, two
sisters, Mrs. Simon Shively, of Dodson, and Mrs. A. L. Linton of Hattiesburg,
Miss., and one brother, Sherman Mixon of South America.  He was a member of
the Baptist Church and an esteemed family and formerly resided at Dodson.

The funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon at Gansville Baptist Church, Rev.
W. T. Strain of Simsboro officiated.
