Lambert Mixon, Prominent Winn Farmer, Buried

Richard Lambert Mixon, 84 year old resident of the Atlanta Community died
Tuesday, March 8, in a local hospital.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Atlanta Baptist Church
with Rev. Ray Teal officiating.  Burial was in Atlanta Cemetery under
direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mr. Mixon was one of the outstanding farmers of his community and was well
known throughout the parish.  He was a native of Winn, being a son of the late
H. C. Mixon and Mrs. Fannie McLamore Mixon.

Survivors are a son, W. H. Mixon of Atlanta, and three grandsons.
