She was the mother and sister of several Winn Parish residents. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Downsville Baptist Church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mrs. Moffett was a native of Jackson Parish and a descendant of a pioneer family. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Fred Ford, Mrs. J. O. Culpepper, and Mrs. R. B. Kitcham, all of Jonesboro; five sons, W. A. Moffett, Tallulah, Dewey Moffett, H. N. Moffett, the Rev. Lewis Moffett, and Marlin Moffett, all of Dodson; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Stone of Winnfield and Mrs. Obie Wilson of Shreveport; and 17 grandchildren. The Rev. Clyde Parker and the Rev. Louis Williams officiated at the funeral service. Pallbearers were Lydge Moffett, Curt Moffett, Elmer Moffett, Wilson Shively, Edd Lewis, and Willard Taylor.
