Mrs. B. Monrose, Aunt Of Bevill Family, Succumbs

Mrs. Blanche Allen Monrose, aunt of Mrs. Carrie Maud Lohman, Miss May Bevill,
R. D. and Joe Bevill of Winnfield, died at her home in New Orleans
suddenly Saturday, March 21, on her 73rd birthday.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at McMahon-Coburn Funeral
Home, Canal Street, New Orleans, with burial following in St. Louis No. 2
Cemetery, New Orleans.

Mrs. Montrose, a native of Natchitoches Parish, was the daughter of the late
James Allen and Carrie Prothro.  She resided in Winn Parish as a young girl
and later madeher home here for many years with her sister, the late Mrs. R.
D. Bevill.

Attending the last rites were Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Bevill, Mrs. Carrie Maude
Lohman, and Joe Bevill of Winnfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Jared Bevill of Kilgore,
Texas.
