Relative of Winn Residents Dies In West Monroe

E. C. "Buck" Monroe, 68, of 1528 Jonesboro Road, West Monroe, died
unexpectedly of a heart attack, Thursday, April 6, 1972.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe. 
Masonic graveside services and burial were at Memorial Park Cemetery at
Monroe.

Survivors include his widow, the former Gladys Crain, formerly of Gaars Mill-
Sikes area; four daughters, his father, one brother, six sisters, and nine
grandchildren.

He was a brother in law of Mrs. Roy Gaar of Gaars Mill and the uncle of Jack
Gaar of Winnfield.
