Moorhead Succumbs Feb. 25 In Shreveport Henry Augusta Moorhead, 78, retired businessman of Winnfield, died at his home at 3110 Chestnut, Shreveport, at 2:30 p.m. Monday after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home chapel, Shreveport, and burial was in the Centuries Park Cemetery, Shreveport. Born in Meridian, Mississippi, he had resided in Winnfield for many years where he engaged in various business enterprises. Retiring a few years ago because of ill health, he continued to live in Winnfield until a few weeks ago when he and his family moved to Shreveport. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ella Brister Moorhead; one son, Clint, of Dayton, Ohio; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Acting as pallbearers were J. R. Sholars, Quincy Lincecum, Fred Robken, Brooks Roberts, Earl Sandifer, and Baylor Culpepper.
