Moore, One of Oldest Winn Citizens, Succumbs Funeral Conducted For 91 Year Old Resident Tuesday Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday for G. R. Moore, 91, who died Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Helen Harrell, in Laurel Heights. Rites were conducted by the Rev. C. M. Robinson, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, where the funeral was held, and interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of the Southern Funeral Home. The deceased was born Sept. 24, 1856 at Vanceburg, Ky., and had lived in Winn Parish for many years. He was one of the oldest citizens of this community. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Harrell and Mrs. James Gerald, Winnfield; four sons, R. D. Moore, Oklahoma City; Horace Moore, Monroe and Tom Moore, Minden, and Fred Moore, Shreveport, and 26 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
