Brooks Moore Dies; Burial At Zion Hill

Funeral services for Brooks W. Moore, 64, of Winnfield were held at 2 p.m.
Saturday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home here with the Rev. Charles
Haley officiating.

Burial was in Zion Hill Cemetery for Mr. Moore who died Friday, September 10,
1976 at 5:30 a.m. in an Alexandria hospital after a short illness.

A native of Mississippi, Mr. Moore was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist
Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Vernita Moore of Winnfield; one daughter,
Mrs. Lavelle Bartley of Winnfield; one brother, Henry Moore of Alexandria;
two sisters, Mrs. Willie Ulmer and Mrs. Nellie Cooper, both of Carrollton,
Miss.; and two grandchildren.
