M. Former Local Resident; Member of First Graduating Class Here Luther Carter Moore, 56, died at his home in Minden Wednesday afternoon last week following an illness of several months. The deceased who had been in the employ of the Louisiana and Arkansas Railway Company for 35 years resided in Winnfield when a boy and during his early manhood. He was a member of the first graduating class of the Winnfield High School in 1907. At the time of his death he was chief clerk in the freight department and the shops at Minden. In January, 1915 he was married to Miss Ida Wallace, who with one son, Luther William Moore, of Minden, and two daughters, Mrs. W. S. Emmons, Jr., and Miss Mary Moore of San Diego, Calif., survive him. Also surviving him are his mother, Mrs. L. W. Moore of Minden. __________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________ of which he was a member and clerk of the board of deacons, conducted by the Rev. A. W. Myles and interment was in the Minden Cemetery. Attending the last rites from here were Mr. and Mrs. John H. Mosley, Mrs. Cas Moss, Mrs. Gill Smith, Mrs. W. H. Baker, Mrs. E. E. Kidd, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wallace.
