Miss B. Mooney Succumbs; Rites Held Friday

Miss Bertie Mooney, 84, of Dodson, died Wednesday, February 10, 1971 in the
Winnfield General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Grafton Shaw officiating.  Burial was in the Zion Hill
Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Survivors include one brother, _________ Mooney of Dodson; one sister, Miss
Elsie Mooney of Winnfield, and several nieces and nephews.

(Brother's first name possibly Cooper, but article is screwed up)

The brother is Hooper Mooney.  He was married to Arah Berry, making him
a great uncle of Sue Badeaux and mine.  He still has some children around
Winn Parish.  Bill lives out on Saline Lake and Buddy lives around Calvin.
Hooper and Arah lived in Dodson.
