Mrs. Anna Moore, 77, Succumbs; Rites At Verda

Mrs. Anna Corbett Moore, 77, of Verda, died at 8:05 p.m. Monday, March 15,
1971 in a Winnfield nursing home.  She was a member of the Verda Baptist
Church and a native of Grant Parish.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Moore of Dry Prong; a son, Arnold Corbett
of Winnfield; a daughter, Mrs. Myrtis Poisso of Winnfield; four brothers,
Ernest Lasyone of Verda, Lee Lasyone of Verda, Ed Lasyone of Dry Prong, and
Jim Lasyone of Dry Prong, and four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Verda Baptist Church with
Revs. Walker Barnard and Matt Brice officiating.  Burial was in Verda
Cemetery.
