A World War II veteran, Moore was a member of the Montgomery Masonic Lodge and New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ina Moore of Winnfield; two sons, L. G. Moore of Montgomery and Wayne Moore of Winnfield; three brothers, W. L. Moore of Natchitoches, Arnold Moore of Sequin, Tex., and _________ Moore of Fort Necessity; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Bishop and Mrs. Tommie Lynn, both of Montgomery; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in New Jerusalem Baptist Church with Revs. V. K. Fletcher and Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial with Masonic graveside rites was in Garden of Memories Cemetery here under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Pallbearers included Steve Williford, Jerry McManus, James Vines, Deloy Shows, Walter Killen, and Charles Teddlie.
