Final Rites Held For Tom Moore Of Star Route, Tullos

Thomas O. "Tom" Moore, age 83, of Star Route, Tullos, passed away Jan. 6,
1959, at 9 a.m. at the Urania clinic, Urania, La.  He died of a heart attack.
Mr. Moore was a native of Grant Parish but had resided in Winn for the past 25
years.

Funeral services were held From Zion Hill Baptist Church, Williana, at 2 p.m.
Jan. 7, 1959, with Rev. J. T. Caskey and Rev. Hockenhull officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lula Moore, Star Route, Tullos; three
brothers, Allen Moore, Williana; Nick Moore, Winnfield, and Frank Moore,
Georgetown; one sister, Mrs. Ella Broussard of Houston, Texas.

Pallbearers were J. A. Moore, William Moore, Elwin Rogers, I. D. Cox, S. W.
Mercer, and Ben Cootie.
