Last Rites Held For Thomas E. Mooty, April 20

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, April 22 at the Union Hill Baptist
Church for Mr. Thomas E. Mooty, age 68, of Montgomery, who died April 20 in
the North Louisiana Sanitarium, Shreveport.  The Rev. M. B. Atkins officiated.

Mr. Mooty is survived by his widow, four daughters (only three daughters
listed in obit), and one son.  They are Mrs. Thelma Chandler, Mrs. Jewell
Forjaudin, Sulphur, Mrs. A. B. Phillips, Mansfield, Lawson Mooty, Houston,
Texas; three brothers, M. C. Mooty, Montgomery, L. C. Mooty, Jena, Willie
Mooty, El Dorado, Ark.; his mother, Mrs. W. H. Mooty, Montgomery; five
sisters, Mrs. Lena McBride, Mrs Gertrude Fletcher of Montgomery; Mrs. Carrie
Hosner, Mrs. Inez Jones, of New Orleans, and Mrs. R. T. Inlow of El Dorado,
Ark.
