Final Rites For Mrs. J. D. Moore Held Thursday

Mrs. J. D. Moore, about 75, member of a prominent Winn Parish family died
suddenly Tuesday night of a heart attack.  Funeral services were conducted
Thursday at 10 a.m. with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

A native of Ward Nine, Winn Parish, Mrs. Moore was the former Miss Elisa
Wilder.  She was a devout Christian.  Enjoying good health prior to the fatal
attack, Mrs. Moore had visited in the home of a daughter in Shreveport,
Saturday.

Surviving are the following sons and daughters: G. W. and J. D. Moore and Mrs.
W. N. Coburn, all of Shreveport; M. W. Moore, Mrs. W. E. Smith, Mrs. Archie
Jordan, Leon Moore, and Ware Moore, all of Winnfield, Route 2.
