Moreland Funeral Held Yesterday



Funeral services for Mrs. J. P. Moreland, who died at the home of her daughter, 

Mrs. L. S. Miller in Natchitoches, Wednesday night at nine o'clock, were 

concluded here Thursday afternoon at five o'clock.  Interment was made in the 

Winnfield cemetery, preceded by services held at the home in Natchitoches, 

conducted by Rev. Dr. Stanley Wilkes.



Mrs. Moreland is survived by four children, Mrs. L. S. Miller of Natchitoches, 

R. W. Moreland of Waco, Texas, C. C. Moreland of Baton Rouge, and J. H. 

Moreland, New Orleans.



Mrs. Moreland resided in Winnfield for a number of years prior to the death of 

her husband in 1917.
