Carl A. Morgan Dies in Jasper, Texas

Carl A. Morgan of Jasper, Texas, one of the original founders of the Morgan
and Lindsey Stores, succumbed on Sunday, July 4, at the age of 50.

Several years ago, Mr. Morgan was district supervisor of Morgan and Lindsey
stores in this area and visited Winnfield frequently.  He was acquainted with
a number of Winn Parish residents.
