Mrs. L. W. Moore, Former Resident, Dies in Minden

Mrs. L. W. Moore, 93, former resident of Winnfield, and wife of the late Rev.
L. W. Moore, died at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ida Wallace Moore,
in Minden, December 31, 1947.  Funeral services were conducted in Minden
January 1.

Attending the funeral from Winnfield were Mrs. E. E. Kidd, Mrs. Gill Smith,
Mrs. John Mosley, and Mrs. W. H. Baker.

Surviving are one son, Carey Moore of Little Rock, Ark.; a daughter in law,
Mrs. Ida Moore, three grandchildren, Mrs. Ethel Mae Moore, North Carolina,
Mary and Luther Moore, Minden; one stepdaughter, Mrs. J. L. Liggin of Selma.
