October 11, 1940 Lifelong Gansville Resident Dies Oct. 3

C. H. Morris, 81, lifelong resident of the Gansville community, died
on October 3rd.  Funeral services were held Friday at the Gansville
Baptist Church with the Rev. W. T. Strain of Simmsboro officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Annie Morris; five sons, E. H., C. B.,
and K. of Lufkin, Texas; Herchel of Ruston and J. B. of Yuma, Ariz.;
two daughters, Mrs. Ollie Stevens and Mrs. Eula Myhand of Wyatt; 30
grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Hasson Morris of Winnfield
is a nephew.
