Mrs. H. Morris, Retired Teacher, Dies Sat., May 7

Mrs. Ruby Shelton Morris, 71, retired Winnfield school teacher, died early
Saturday, May 7, 1966, in the Martin Hospital following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the First Presbyterian
Church with the Revs. W. R. Gage and E. B. Barton officiating.

Burial was under the direction of Southern Funeral Home and was in the Siloam
Cemetery in the Gansville Community.

A native of Winn Parish, Mrs. Morris was a member of the First Presbyterian
Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Ladies Auxiliary, and the Winnfield Garden
club.

She is survived by her husband, Hasson Morris; three sisters, Mrs. E. B.
Barton, Mrs. C. R. Mixon, and Mrs. Olive Eagles, all of Winnfield; and a
number of nieces and nephews.
