Mrs. Rosa Morse, 90, Dies In Local Hospital

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Morse, 90 year old Winn Parish woman, were held
Monday at the East Winnfield Baptist Church.

Mrs. Morse died Sunday, January 24, in a local hospital.  She was born
November 8, 1863 in Mississippi.  She had lived in Winn Parish about 30 years
and was a member of the Union Baptist Church.

Services at the East Winnfield Church were conducted by the pastor, Rev.
Turner Davis.  Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Union Church, Miss.

She is survived by two sons, E. J. Morse, Union Church, Miss., and J. D.
Morse, Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. P. W. Smith of Sikes and Mrs. Alfred
Cockerham, Joyce; 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
