He was 46. A native of Winnfield, Morgan went to Alexandria in 1946. He was a member of the First Methodist Church there. Mr. Morgan was born and reared in Winnfield. Following his graduation from the local high school, he later entered the armed forces and after the close of World War II, he returned to Winnfield and made his home here for some time before going to Alexandria. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauline Morgan of Alexandria; one brother, Claude Morgan of Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Danforth of Little Rock, Ark., and Mrs. W. G. Golman of Pineville. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Alexandria with burial following in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.
