Mrs. Ella Catherine Morris Dies At Chatham

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Catherine Morris, 68, who died suddenly of
paralysis in her home in Chatham Thursday night were held at 10 a.m. Friday in
the Chatham Baptist Church.  Burial was in the Chatham Cemetery.  She is
survived by her husband, M. D. Morris; six daughters, Mrs. J. N. Kennedy,
Winnfield, Mrs. W. R. Sneed, Winnfield, Mrs. G. F. Hammons, Gansville, Mrs. D.
E. Johnson, Mrs. J. W. Pesnel, and Mrs. A. L. Golden, Chatham; five sons, W.
J. Morris, C. D. Morris, Jonesboro; Roy Morris, Monroe; R. E. Morris, Chatham,
and Elva Morris, Atchafalaya.
